Kids Create is an after school club for Primary and Secondary school age children. With school funding being cut for creative subjects, we at Arty Farty Retreat aim to bring back creativity into children’s lives. We aim to help your children express themselves, socialise and collaborate with their peers and learn new skills with different projects each week.
This next term we have an exciting filmmaking club, where kids will bring their creative ideas to life on screen! Over five fun-filled sessions, young filmmakers will learn the basics of storytelling, scriptwriting, acting, directing, and filming.
Each session will focus on a different stage of the filmmaking process, from brainstorming ideas to shooting scenes and adding the final touches. By the end of the club, the group will have created their very own short film to share with family and friends!
They will need imagination and a love for storytelling. Lights, camera, action!
