Start your week grounded in creativity, focus, and expression. Oil Painting Afternoons is a richly immersive workshop where colour, texture, and light come together in layers of possibility. Whether you’re new to oils or returning to the medium after time away, this welcoming space invites you to slow down, explore deeply, and paint with intention.

Each session introduces key oil painting techniques—such as blending, glazing, underpainting, and working with light and shadow—while gently guiding you to develop your own expressive style. As you paint, you’ll learn to embrace the patience and mindfulness that this medium inspires, discovering how each layer builds both your skill and your connection to the process.

Once the foundations are in place, our Arty Farty SmARTys will support you in creating your own individual artworks, helping you translate your ideas into finished pieces that feel personal and alive.

At the heart of Oil Painting Afternoons is an atmosphere of openness and encouragement. All are welcome, whether you’re an experienced artist or simply seeking a creative space to breathe and reconnect.

This is more than a painting class—it’s a mindful start to your week, a chance to slow down, explore the richness of colour and form, and rediscover the quiet joy of making art by hand.

All materials are provided and you’re welcome to bring any reference images you may wish to paint yourself, but all inspiration will be provided!
