Roar into a day of prehistoric creativity in this exciting dinosaur-themed art adventure! Young artists will explore the fascinating world of dinosaurs through drawing, painting, sculpture, and imaginative crafts, bringing these ancient giants back to life in their own unique way.

Throughout the day, children will learn how to use shape, texture, and colour to design powerful T-Rexes, gentle giants, or even invent their very own dinosaur species. They’ll experiment with different materials, discovering how artists create movement, scales, claws, and dramatic landscapes.

This workshop is about more than dinosaurs—it’s about building creative confidence. Children will be encouraged to observe, imagine, and take bold artistic risks in a supportive and playful environment. As they create, they’ll strengthen fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and their understanding of how art can tell stories.

Please book this workshop on Eventbrite.

For our longer days, please bring lunch with you to enjoy in the studio or you can take a walk down the High Street where there are a couple of cafes to choose from if you’re old enough to go on your own.

Please see more information on the people behind Arty Farty Retreat, and our refund policy.

If you feel your child would benefit from one of our workshops but can’t afford it, please contact us. We have a pay it forward scheme and would hate for anyone to miss out on the benefit of creativity because of financial issues. Equally if you are able to pay it forward for someone else to benefit from our workshops, please get in touch.
