Starting 17th August,
Monday – Thursday, 10am – 3pm
£40 per day / £130 for all 4 days
Recommend age 7 and up, however if your child is younger and you feel they would be able to concentrate on one activity for 45 minutes, then please do book them in.
Step into a world of imagination where anything is possible. Creative Creatures is a playful and expressive workshop series all about designing and creating original creatures through drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media making.
You will explore how artists, illustrators, and designers develop characters by experimenting with shape, texture, colour, movement, and personality. From strange forest beings to underwater monsters, magical hybrids to tiny curious creatures, these workshops encourage you to let your imaginations run wild.
Across the sessions, you’ll sketch ideas, develop designs, experiment with materials, and transform two-dimensional drawings into three-dimensional creations. Along the way, you’ll learn how storytelling, observation, and artistic techniques work together to create believable and expressive characters.
These workshops are about more than making creatures—they’re about building confidence in your ideas, learning to take creative risks, and discovering that imagination is a skill that grows stronger the more you use it.
You can attend a single session, or join all four days at a discounted rate to continue building your own strange and wonderful creative universe.
We will have 40 minute lunch break – please bring lunch with you to enjoy in the studio. Alternatively you can take a walk down the High Street where there are a couple of cafes to choose from if you’re old enough to go on your own.

We believe creativity should be accessible to everyone. If you feel your child would benefit from one of our workshops but financial circumstances make this difficult, please get in touch with us in confidence. Through our Pay It Forward scheme, we may be able to offer supported places, and we would hate for anyone to miss out on the benefits of creativity due to cost. Equally, if you are in a position to contribute towards our Pay It Forward scheme and help another child access our workshops, we would love to hear from you.
