£114 for this 6 workshop course.
(Ages 11+)
This group is designed for older home-educated students ready to take ownership of their creativity and develop their own artistic voice.
More than a traditional art class, it is a flexible, student-led studio environment where each young artist is supported to explore their individual interests, strengths, and ideas.
Students will build core art skills and techniques while also learning how to think like artists—developing ideas, conducting research, and experimenting with materials. They will be introduced to a wide range of artists and creative practices to spark inspiration.
A variety of projects will be available, allowing students to choose directions that excite them. With guidance, they will learn how to take an idea from initial concept through to a resolved, finished piece, gradually developing their own style and confidence.
For those who wish, there is also the opportunity to work towards an Arts Award qualification.
