Gatehouse Candles was started 5 years ago by Karen Sage out of the love of burning candles. She has built her business up so that now she not only makes handmade highly fragranced candles but also makes Candle Melts, Room Sprays and Diffusers. In the workshop you will cover the following points
- Various equipment needed
- Different containers
- The complete process for making a container candle from scratch
- Alternative waxes and wicks you can use
- How to test wicks
- Burning time for each candle
- Alternative fragrance options
- Effective use of fragrances
All the classes are small and tailored so that you can have fun whilst learning the interesting facts of candle making. All the classes last for up to 2 hours.
At the end of each class you take away the candle you have made and some notes on how to make candles.
