Kids Create is an after school club for Primary and Secondary school age children. With school funding being cut for creative subjects, we at Arty Farty Retreat aim to bring back creativity into children’s lives. We aim to help your children express themselves, socialise and collaborate with their peers and learn new skills with different projects each week.
This term we will explore the exciting world of portraits using a variety of materials! Each child will have the chance to create a unique portrait, experimenting with different textures and tools.
We’ll start by learning about how to capture facial features and expressions, before moving on to try out colored pencils, watercolors, markers, fabric, and even some clay to add dimension. Whether creating a self-portrait or drawing a friend, everyone will enjoy expressing themselves through art in fun and imaginative ways!
