I’ve always loved seeing different fonts, on book covers, on posters, on film titles. Some fonts make you instantly recognise what it is – like the Star Wars text moving out into space, the red 80s neon signs for Stranger Things!
Typography can be a lot of fun, make the word freeze look like it’s melting! Make a U look like a unicorn. Uncover your inner illustrator and have a taste for what illustration really is. Turn a piece of typography into an image and create a mini character of yourself.
Please bring lunch with you to enjoy in the studio or you can take a walk down the High Street where there are a couple of cafes to choose from if you’re old enough to go on your own.
