Step into the world of pattern, nature, and craftsmanship in this one-day printmaking workshop inspired by the iconic designs of William Morris. Perfect for children aged 9 and up, this session introduces the traditional technique of linocut printing in a safe and creative way.
Children will design their own repeat patterns or nature-inspired motifs, carve them into soft printing blocks, and create beautiful prints on paper using professional inks and tools. Along the way, they’ll learn about symmetry, texture, and the art of decorative design—taking inspiration from Morris’s timeless floral and botanical work.
This is a great opportunity for young artists to experiment with printmaking and take home a collection of striking hand-printed artwork.
All materials are provided – just bring a packed lunch!
