Bright colours, bold patterns, and plenty of creativity await in this Folk Art Canvas Painting Workshop! Inspired by traditional folk art from around the world, children will explore a range of charming motifs – from flowers and birds to hearts and geometric designs – before creating their very own masterpiece on canvas.
The day begins with a look at different folk art styles, using vibrant examples to spark ideas and inspire imagination. Children will then sketch out their own designs and bring them to life using acrylic paint on canvas, learning basic techniques for layering colour, outlining, and adding detail.
This session offers a wonderful balance of guided instruction and creative freedom. By the end of the workshop, each child will have a bright, bold folk-art painting to proudly take home.
All materials are provided – just bring a packed lunch and your love of colour and creativity!
