Kids Create is an after school club for Primary and Secondary school age children. With school funding being cut for creative subjects, we at Arty Farty Retreat aim to bring back creativity into children’s lives. We aim to help your children express themselves, socialise and collaborate with their peers and learn new skills with different projects each week.
It’s been lovely seeing everyone get into their colour theory last term and making beautiful marks printing and drawing this term! We’re going to other end of the spectrum next term going from art theory to total imagination – MONSTERS! We’ll be painting them, drawing them, inventing them, looking at other artist’s versions, making them in 3D sculptures! They can be mean and scary or cuddly and kind. We’re going to have so much fun.
