Get your Arts Award Discover certificate, finding out about different artists, creating your own work, learning new techniques and exploring what you like and don’t like!
Arts Award Discover is an introductory award, designed for ages 5 and above, but is open to children and young people aged 25 and under.
To achieve an Arts Award Discover, children and young people collect evidence in an individual arts log of their experiences of:
- participating in arts activities
- researching artists and their work
- sharing their arts discoveries

Please bring lunch with you to enjoy in the studio or you can take a walk down the High Street where there are a couple of cafes to choose from if you’re old enough to go on your own.
